ISMANS at Materials Design UGM
ISMANS, represented by Dr. Minisini assistant professor and molecular and modelling simulation manager, was present at BOSTON (USA) at the beginning of November for the User Group Meeting 2011 of Materials Design®. This company develops MedeA® a powerful software package with different builders (molecular, crystal, nanoparticles,…), friendly graphical user interfaces for different efficient tools such as VASP, MOPAC, GIBBS, LAMPPS and reliable databases. The main developers of the different cited simulation programs attended to this meeting as several industrial customers among which HONDA, INTEL, RAYTHEON, TERRAPOWER, UNITED TECHNOLOGIES… and academic laboratories.
ISMANS as one of the oldest customer uses MedeA® since more than 10 years for academic (structure/properties relationships in crystals) and research purposes (YLiF4 and Osmium alloys thermomechanical properties).
